I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Dartmouth College.

My research is focused on understanding the patterns, processes, and consequences of inequality across geographic space and time. In pursuit of this broader interest, my work contributes to scholarship in the areas of population health, urban and community sociology, and residential/housing inequality. To date, my research has appeared in various interdisciplinary journals, including Demography, Social Science & Medicine, Social Problems, City & Community, Health & Place, PLOS ONE, SSM-Population Health, Rural Sociology, Socius, Population Research and Policy Review, Social Science Research, Journal of Urban Affairs, and Population, Space and Place.

Before joining Dartmouth, I was an Assistant Professor of Sociology at SUNY-Buffalo (2015-2020) and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Sociology at Rice University (2013-2015). I received my PhD in Sociology and Demography from Pennsylvania State University in 2013.
